Baptists are Church People

They see the church not so much as an institution but as a fellowship of Jesus' followers. Personal faith in Christ precedes baptism and church membership. This is why the practice of the church is believers' baptism, involving commitment and consent on the part of the person baptised.

Church life is all about working out the teaching of God's word, the Bible. We meet to hear God's word explained, to sing God's praise, to pray together and to celebrate the victory of the Lord Jesus' death, in the Christian family meal - the Lord's Supper. We also try to care for the needy and encourage one another to spread the Good News of Jesus by all possible means.
